Presentation of Azeri-English translation software Dilmanc has been held April 13 within the framework of Creation and modernization of Azeri-English translation software project executed jointly by the Ministry of Communications and IT and UNDP, Trend reports. Ali Abbasov, Minister of Education Misir Mardanov, rector of Baku State University Abel Maherramov and experts of state institutions and education structures of the country.
Presenting the software, head of the project Abulfaz Fatullayev said a big scientific work within the framework of the project had been conducted on creation of formal grammar of Azeri language, semantic analysis, provision of vocabulary for translation software, as well as system testing and so.
Mr Fatullayev said this advanced technology might apply to other Turk languages.
