Volume of cargo loaded/unloaded in Iran’s Jask Port down

The volume of cargo loaded and unloaded in the Jask port of the Hormozgan Province (southern Iran) decreased by 0.5 percent in the 7th month of the current Iranian year (September 23 through October 22, 2021), compared to the 6th month (August 23 through September 22, 2021), Trend reports via the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).

According to the statistics, about 28,700 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in this port in the seventh month.

So, 21,800 tons of cargo were exported and 6,900 tons were imported through the Jask port over the 7th month.

“About 21,500 tons of essential products, and 7,220 tons of container products were loaded and unloaded in the Jask port in the 7th month of the current Iranian year,” the statistics said.

As reported, about 12 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the seventh month of the current Iranian year. Of this, 5.6 million tons were loaded and 6.36 million tons were unloaded.

This is an increase of 12.5 percent compared to the same month last Iranian year.
