Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev received National Security Committee Chairman Adil Shayakhmetov, the presidential press-service reported.
Shayakhmetov informed the President about the committee's activities. During the meeting, Nazarbayev noted the importance of strengthening the fight against terrorism and extremism.
The President ordered to increase the efficiency of formation and management of the Committee's human resources and present concrete proposals to improve it, the source reported.
