Kazakhstan announces time for revealing initial data on turnout in presidential election
The preliminary data on the voter turnout in Kazakhstan's snap presidential election will be announced by the country's central election commission (CEC) on Apr. 26 at 22:00 (UTC/GMT +6 hours), Kazinform quoted the CEC Secretary Bakhyt Meldeshov as saying.
Meldeshov said that on Apr. 26, the CEC will host briefings with representatives of the Kazakh interior ministry and the prosecutor general's office.
"A briefing of the CEC deputy chairman, Vladimir Foos, will be held roughly at 22:00, during which the preliminary data on the voter turnout at the snap election of the president of the Kazakhstan Republic will be released," said Meldeshov.
