BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 7. Kazakhstan is eyeing to extend the prohibition on export of petroleum products, Kazakhstan’s First Deputy Prime Minister Roman Sklyar said, Trend reports citing the government.

Sklyar made the statement in an answer to an inquiry from the members of Kazakh Mazhilis (lower house of the Parliament).

He noted that in order to maintain the balance of petroleum products in the domestic market work on the extension of the ban on the export of petroleum products till the end of 2022 is being held.

The prohibition was first put into place in 2021 and has since then been extended for half a year.
