The Kyrgyz Parliament enacted the bill on amnesty in honor of 20 years of independence of the republic in third readings, 24.kg reported.
Member of SDPK faction Galina Skripkina says that 2,738 people lay claims for early release. "Among them are people with disabilities of the first and second group, minors, persons committed not bad crimes, having conditional sentences and others."
In the result majority of MPs voted for the bill.
