An Iranian bus carrying pilgrims to Syria was attacked when it was crossing from Turkish city of Van, ISNA reported.

10 people were injured in the attack one of whom was just a child.

The Spokesman of Iranian embassy in Ankara confirmed the terrorist action and said, "The incident occurred in Turkish city of Van through which our compatriots were wounded."

"We continue searching for the fellow perpetrators," he said.

"Local police is trying to find the clues in this regard, but nothing has been clarified yet," Turkish Erzurum daily wrote.

Based on the report, some armed men called on the bus to stop, but they started shooting at the bus following his disobedience which led to injury of 10 people.

The Turkish daily wrote, "The passengers said the bus driver was the main target of the attacker who fled when the bus reached the police station."
