( IRNA ) - The European Union Foreign Ministers' Council briefly discussed relations with Iran and the Iranian nuclear program on Monday, according to an EU statement released Tuesday.
The discussion followed the High Representative Javier Solana's meeting with Iranian national security advisor Ali Larijani on April 25 and in the perspective of possible further contacts, noted the statement.
Meanwhile, Solana told reporters on Tuesday that he is expected to meet Larijani soon.
But the EU foreign policy chief did not specify any date or venue.
