Iran's Oil Ministry has formed a working group, tasked with manufacturing 10 strategic goods for the oil industry.
All the contracts, their duration and value, and the related payments, should be approved by the working group, Iran's IRNA news agency reported on October 7.
Well-head equipment, drilling rigs, safety taps, pipes, rotating electro-motors, and measurement devices are among the strategic equipments for the Iranian oil industry.
Although international sanctions target the Islamic Republic's oil industry, the country has been partly successful in by-passing the sanctions, Iranian oil minister, Bijan Namdar Zanganeh says.
"The United States and its western allies are trying to create troubles for Iran's oil industry via sanctions, however we continue to move towards our goals," Zanganeh said, Iran's SHANA news agency reported Sept. 4.
Earlier Zanganeh said that Iran would not remain behind the sanction's blockade, referring to a new round of the U.S. sanctions against Iran.
