Iran plans to attract foreign investment after potential  lifting of sanctions

Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran and the head of Trade Promotion Organization (PBO) that in the country must have a plan to attract foreign investment, if the situation changes.

Referring to the PBO preparations for the foreign investment in case of a possible lifting of sanctions, Hamid Zadboum said that We have designed two scenarios for optimistic and pessimistic situations in the current Iranian year (ends on March 21, 2022)," Trend reports citing ILNA.

"If the situation changes, we must have a plan to attract foreign investment," he said referring to the possible lifting of US sanctions.

Referring to the need for awareness of Iranian companies, Zadboum says the enforcement guarantee of contracts depends on the skills of domestic companies in negotiating and affirming the commitments.

"The TPO tries to empower Iranian companies and train them to operate within the framework of international trade," the head of TPO said.
