Azerbaijan to fine insurance companies for delayed payments against accidents at work
The insurance companies will pay a penalty in case of delayed payments on insurance against accidents at work and disability resulting from occupational diseases in Azerbaijan.
This envisages the amendments in the "Rules of assigning, seizing and restoring insurance payments on compulsory insurance against accidents at work and disability resulting from occupational diseases".
These amendments were approved by the Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers.
The insurance companies will have to pay a penalty of 0.1 percent for each day of delayed payment in accordance with the amendments.
