Plan for privatization of state property for the third quarter was fulfilled by 251 percent.
Instead of the planned 23 million lari ($1 = 1.77 lari) 57,840,000 was transferred to the public budget, Giorgi Kalandadze, the spokesman for the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development said at a briefing Oct.29.
According to him, in October 25 facilities were sold both in Tbilisi and the regions worth 7,038,711 lari.
The Ministry of Economy held a regular auction Oct. 29, which sold buildings worth $285,000 in Rustavi. Facilities were purchased by the Rustavmetall Company.
