The parties also discussed the issue of deepening cooperation in other economic sectors.

Austria presented proposals from various companies in certain Georgian economic sectors, such as energy, education, agriculture and transport.

The Georgian side raised the issue of increasing the quota for land transport permits. The volume of land transportation from Georgia to Austria in 2021 will increase by 10.5 percent. The session also focused on the use of the corridor from Austria to Georgia for the transit of rail cargo and the creation of a joint group for this purpose.
