The Libyan embassy in the capital Manama rejected a meeting with representatives of Bahrain's opposition Thursday, who were trying to deliver a letter condemning the violence against protesters in Libya, DPA reported.
The letter, which was signed by six key Bahraini opposition groups, called for "an immediate halt to the massacre" in Libya.
The letter, and flowers, was left at the gate of the Libyan embassy, where members of the opposition also prayed for the estimated hundreds killed in Libya since the unrest started earlier this month.
