A 5.2-magnitude earthquake jolted the Alaska Peninsula region on Saturday, the Alaska Earthquake Information Center reported, according to Xinhua.
According to a report posted by the USGS on its website, the tremor, followed by a 4.2 magnitude aftershock, struck at 4:21 a.m. local time (1221 GMT) Saturday about 117 kilometers south of the Cold Bay.
No injuries or damages have been reported so far.
