An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale rattled central Greece Friday, but no damage or injuries were reported, the Athens Geodynamic Institute said, DPA reported.
The earthquake's epicentre was in the area of Evpaliou Fokidas, Nafpaktos, about 180 kilometres north-east of Athens, and was felt throughout central Greece.
Friday's earthquake had the same epicentre as a magnitude-5.2 earthquake recorded January 11.
"We call them twin earthquakes because there is no difference between them," seismologist Konstantinos Makropoulos said.
