6.7-magnitude earthquake jolts off Alaska coast

An earthquake measuring 6.7 on the Richter scale jolted off the coast of Alaska, the U.S. Geological Survey said on Sunday, Xinhua reported.
The quake, which occurred 9:56 p.m. local time Saturday (0556 GMT), was centered 65 km southwest of Nikolski, the Aleutian Islands, the USGS said.
