Gunmen shot and killed a Greek journalist outside his home in Athens early Monday, reports said.
Reports said three unknown gunmen fired nearly 20 shots at 36-year-old radio journalist, Socratis Giolas, outside his home in Athens, killing him instantly before escaping in a car, DPA reported.
The gunmen managed to get the journalist out of his home before dawn by ringing the doorbell and telling him that someone had stolen his car. They immediately opened fire with an automatic weapon.
Police were looking for a motive behind the shooting.
