Seventeen people died and one was injured when a truck collided with a van early Tuesday in central Poland, local media reported.
The accident occurred when a truck collided with a Volkswagen van that was carrying 18 people to work, DPA reported.
Police speculated heavy fog and speeding might have been factors in the collision, which occurred on a road in the town of Nowe Miasto nad Pilica.
