Situation in Pakistan paving way for investments - army chief

Army will continue playing its part in ensuring secure environment for business and entrepreneurship in Pakistan for both local and foreign investors, Pakistan's Dispatch News Desk (DND) news agency reported citing Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

While speaking during his visit to the Thar Coal Project, the COAS said that internal security situation in the country has largely improved paving way for foreign investment in Pakistan.

During his visit, the COAS was a given detailed briefing on the progress of the pilot projects.

Managing Director of Fauji Fertilizer Company, former Lt. General Tariq Khan received the COAS upon his arrival.

Earlier, the COAS accompanied by Commander of the Karachi Corps, Lt. General Humayun Aziz visited forward troops in Gadra Sector Sindh.

The COAS said on the occasion that Pakistan army is fully committed to guard the frontiers of the country. He commended operational preparedness and high state of morale of the troops.
