A suicide bomber blew himself up in front of the Rapid Reaction Force's post in the Taksim Square in Istanbul on Sunday morning, the CNN-Turk television channel quoted the witnesses.
The explosion occurred at 10.40 local time. The blast wounded at least 22 people, including ten police officers. Two injured are in serious health state
According to the television channel, the police have found another explosive device. The police have already cordoned off the area.
Additional police units and ambulances have been involved in area of the Taksim Square.
