In October of 2019, Turkey`s trade with Belarus grew by $29.7 million, compared with October of last year, amounting to $71.2 million, Turkey`s Ministry of Trade told Trend.
At the same time, Turkey`s export to Belarus, amounted to $58.6 million, and import from Belarus to $12.6 million, the ministry said.
From January through October, 2019, trade between these countries grew by $42.6 million compared with the same period of 2018, amounting to $560.5 million.
At that time, Turkey's export to Belarus, amounted to $424.6 million, and import from Belarus to $135.8 million, the ministry said.
In October, 2019, Turkey`s external trade amounted to $34.5 billion.
For this period Turkey`s export decreased by 1.53 percent, compared with the same month of 2018, amounting to $16.3 billion.
At that time, import to Turkey grew by 10.7 percent, compared with the period of last year, reaching $18.1 billion.
From January through October, Turkey`s external trade amounted to $320.9 billion.
