The value of exports from Turkey to the member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) increased by 15 percent from January through March 2021, compared to the same period of 2020, exceeding $13.1 billion, the Ministry of Trade of Turkey told Trend.
As reported, in March 2021, Turkey's exports to the OIC countries increased by 3.2 percent compared to March 2020, totaling over $ 5.08 billion.
In the first quarter of this year, Turkey's imports from the OIC countries rose by 2.7 percent compared to the same period of 2020, having surpassed $7.18 billion, the ministry said.
According to the ministry, Turkey's imports from the OIC countries in March 2021 increased by 20.6 percent over the year, amounting to $2.26 billion.
