The Turkish port of Gemlik received 867 ships from January through March 2021, the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend.
As reported, of the number of ships received by the port during the specified period, 255 were flying the Turkish flag, 612 - the flags of other countries.
According to the ministry, the ports of Turkey received a total of 12,016 ships in the first quarter of 2021, including 3,534 flying the flag of Turkey.
"During the same period, the remaining 8,482 ships were flying the flags of other countries," the ministry said.
