Azerbaijan is interested in expanding cooperation with Belarus in the field of customs, chairman of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, lieutenant-general of the Customs Service Aydin Aliyev said, the press service of the State Customs Committee reported Oct. 6.

Aydin Aliyev made the remarks during his meeting with Ambassador of Belarus in Azerbaijan Gennady Ahramovich

Having congratulated the ambassador on his new appointment, Aliyev wished him success in his future activities. Emphasizing the activity of the presidents of both countries in the formation of relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus, chairman of the State Customs Committee expressed satisfaction with the level of mutual cooperation between the two countries.

Noting that Azerbaijan is interested in expanding cooperation with Belarus in the field of customs, Aliyev stressed the importance of development and integration of relations between the sides in these terms.

Having thanked the chairman of the State Customs Committee for the warm welcome, Ahramovich said that he got great impressions in a short period and witnessed the economic progress in the country.

The guest noted the importance of expanding cooperation between the two friendly countries in all fields, including customs.

During the meeting, the sides also exchanged views on issues of mutual interest and discussed future prospects of joint cooperation.
