Azerbaijan will allocate 775.8 million manats for the healthcare system in 2017.
According to the project of the Azerbaijani state budget for 2017, the funds allocated for the healthcare sphere will account for 4.7 percent of the budget expenses that is by 0.2 percent more than in 2016.
Some 180.3 million manats of the funds, allocated for the healthcare, will be spent for financing of special-purpose programs and events.
Some 22.2 million manats will be spent for activities in the field of the treatment of renal failure, 18.5 million manats – for activities on the treatment of such genetic blood disorders, such as hemophilia and thalassemia, 39.3 million manats – for financing of national activities on fight against cancer, 36 1 million manats – for financing of national activities on fight against insular diabetes and others.
