The work on e-cadastre database of real estate in Baku and the digital cadastral map will be completed within 2-3 years, the Azerbaijani State Property Committee said on Saturday.
Turkish company "Kutlubey Harita İnsaat Muhendislik Sanayi Ticaret" won the tender for the preparation of an electronic cadastre database of real estate in Baku. The contract between the State Committee and the company was signed in August 2012.
The cadastre work is being conducted within the German Development Bank's project (KfW) in Ganja and Sheki.
"The creation of digital property maps will be ensured throughout the country within the international projects and internal resources of the country for the next few years," a statement said.
