OPEC oil basket's price stood at $33.93 per barrel on April 6, or $1.22 more than on April 5, the cartel told Trend April 7.
The OPEC Reference Basket (ORB) is made up of the following oil brands: Saharan Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola), Oriente (Ecuador), Minas (Indonesia), Iran Heavy (Islamic Republic of Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Qatar Marine (Qatar), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE) and Merey (Venezuela).
The global oil prices increased April 7.
The price for June futures of the North Sea Brent oil mix increased by 0.3 percent - up to $39.96 per barrel, while the price of May futures for WTI oil increased by 0.29 percent - up to $37.86 per barrel April 7 as of 12:05 (UTC/GMT+4 hours).
