Iran increased oil production level to 3.56 million barrels per day (mb/d) in April, the International Energy Agency reported on May 12.
"Iranian supply rose to 3.56 mb/d, a level last hit in November 2011, before sanctions were tightened," according to a report, published on IEA's website.
Iran's oil production level stood at 2.8 mb/d in 2015 averagely, but lifting of sanctions on the country in mid-January paved way for resuming the production level.
Iran's oil output stood at 3.3 mbm/d in March, about 300,000 barrels per day more than the beginning of 2016.
Iran's oil export also reached 2 mb/d in April, 0.6 mb/d more than March, IEA said.
