The Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park has extended the validity period of the license for the SSL certificate of the electronic document management system for one year, the Azerbaijani State Service for Antimonopoly Policy and Consumer Protection said in a message posted on its website.
Azerbaijan’s Caspel LLC was involved to prolong the license. The contract worth 14,500 manats was signed with the company on May 25, 2017.
The SSL certificate is a standard Internet security technology that is used to ensure an encrypted connection between the web server and the browser.
The SSL certificate allows using the https protocol. This is a secure connection that guarantees the private transfer of information from the user's browser to the server, which protects information from intruders.
