GDP in Tajikistan during the first quarter of 2014 has increased by 7 percent compared to the same period of the last year, amounting to 7.81 billion somoni, Avesta.Tj reported with the reference to Tajik Statistical Agency.
The growth of GDP was a result of the increase in industrial production, including energy sphere, services and taxes.
Paid services, including medical ones, takes up major share of GDP growth.
Taxes made 17.8 percent of total GDP growth during the mentioned period.
