Kazakhstan’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev and his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani have discussed the prospects for strengthening the cooperation in various spheres.

Kazakhstan's President Nursultan Nazarbayev and his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani have discussed the prospects for strengthening the cooperation in various spheres, Kazakh president's press service said Apr.11.

Nazarbayev is on a two-day visit in Iran.

The presidents focused on cooperation in trade, economic, investments, agricultural, transit and transportation spheres.

They also discussed the process of implementation of the agreements reached during the visit of Rouhani to Astana in September of 2014 and exchanged views on the topical issues related to the regional and international security.

Hassan Rouhani expressed confidence that this visit of Kazakh president to Tehran will give a new impetus to the cooperation between the two countries.
