Roman Sklyar was appointed deputy minister of national economy of Kazakhstan, the press service of the ministry reported.
The Minister of National Economy of Kazakhstan Kuandyk Bishimbayev introduced Sklyar to the staff of the ministry.
Since March 2016, Sklyar has served as member of the Mazhilis (lower house) of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, chairman of the Committee for Economic Reform and Regional Development.
