Iranian Defense Minister Hossein Dehqan has said the country is able to upgrade its missiles to higher versions within 3 to 4 months.

“In the field of missiles, we are operating in three fields of defense, ballistics, and land cruise,” the minister stated, Fars news agency reported August 26.

Regarding radars, he said Iran is currently exporting its products to other countries.

“We are producing all classes of radars, including long-range ones, we don't have any limits there," Dehqan said.

Iran recently started receiving the S-300 missiles that it had bought from Russia in 2007, after much ups and downs. The transfer of the missiles under the 2007 deal between Iran and Russia will be complete this year.

On Aug. 25, Dehgan said that Iran doesn't need Russian instructors to heop with using the missiles.

Recently, Tehran also showed off a series of missiles that it claimed were domestic counterparts to the Russian S-300.
