Reacting to White House press secretary Sean Spicer’s recent remarks on Iran, Bahram Qasemi, the spokesperson of Iranian foreign ministry said that the hostility towards the Islamic Republic remains.

Qasemi said that some changes may have been made to the US (Trump’s election as US president), but America’s hostility towards Iran and Iranians has not changed, IRNA news agency reported.

Since US President Donald Trump has assumed office, the world has witnessed a small part of the US hostility towards Iran, he said.

Spicer had earlier said “I think Iran is kidding itself if they don’t think there’s a new president in town”.
