An earthquake of 4.2 magnitudes was recorded near the Murmuri city of Iran's Ilam province on Dec. 19, at around 05:18 (UTC/GMT +3:30 hours), the Iranian news agency IRNA said.
No report has been made on the destruction and casualties.
Earlier, in August, the Murmuri city was jolted by an earthquake of magnitude 6.2, resulting in 260 people being injured. The earthquake also damaged half of the houses in the city.
