The University of Tehran has ranked 48th best university in the field of engineering according to an annual report by the ShanghaiRanking Consultancy.
The total score of the university for 2016 is 68, whereas the top on the list is the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a score of 100, Trend correspondent reported February 28.
ShanghaiRanking Consultancy is a fully independent organization dedicated to research on higher education intelligence and consultation. It has been the official publisher of the Academic Ranking of World Universities since 2009.
