Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze will meet with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Vashadze and Clinton plan to meet within Georgian Foreign Minister's visit to the U.S., scheduled for February 17, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze said today on the traditional Monday press briefing.
"We have been working over this visit for a long time. We hope it to be successful," she said.
Kalandadze also reported that Vashadze will hold meetings in the Senate and the U.S. Congress within his visit to the U.S. Georgia will promote the adoption of the resolution on the occupation of Georgia by Russia. It has been already prepared in the Senate.
It is also planned to discuss cooperation between the two countries within the strategic charter on cooperation between Georgia and the U.S.
