The meeting of US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Eric Rubin with Bidzina Ivanishvili took place on Tuesday.
According to the Georgian Dream press service, U.S. Deputy Director of the Bureau for European and Eurasian Affairs Alan Wurtzel, the Head of Policital and Economic sector at U.S. embassy Alan Meltzer, political officer of the U.S. Secretary of State Anders Lynch and the Ambassador of USA to Georgia Richard Norland took part in the meeting.
The parties discussed further development of bilateral relations.
Ivanishvili stated that situation in Iran and Syria was discussed at the meeting.
"The situation in these countries is complicated, it threatens the stability in the region," he said.
