Today the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, launched a five-day course entitled "Diplomatic Protocol and Negotiation Skills," designed to highlight the best international practices in diplomacy and diplomatic protocol, a report of U.S. Embassy in Ashgabat said on Wednesday.
Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and United States Ambassador to Turkmenistan Robert E. Patterson opened the event by welcoming course participants and expressing their mutual support for such cross-cultural learning opportunities.
