An earthquake measuring 3.5 on Richter scale jolted Sabzevar in eastern province of Khorasan Razavi on Sunday early morning, IRNA reported.
According to the report of seismography center affiliated to Tehran University Geophysics Institute, the tremor occurred at 03:25 hours local time (23:55 hours GMT) and its epicenter was at 36.23 degrees latitude and 57.72 degrees longitude and in depth of 8 kilometers underground.
Sabzevar is one of the biggest cities of Khorasan Razavi province, which is located in the west of the province.
There is no immediate report on possible casualties or damage.
