Tbilisi, Georgia, May 1
By Nana Kirtzkhalia - Trend:
Representatives of international courier companies, such as TNT, DHL, UPS and FEDEX, will hold a protest action in front of Georgia's Ministry of Economy.
These companies will suspend service for several hours in protest against the law on postal services adopted by the country's parliament.
The law, initiated by Georgia's Economy Ministry, envisages undue restrictions on carriers, which negatively affects this market segment, creating monopoly for the Georgian Post (postal service of Georgia), according to representatives of courier companies.
