Azerbaijan may again reduce cargo transportation prices, if necessary, said Sahil Babayev, the Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry.
"Transportation prices are regulated by the market. Azerbaijan is trying to create the most favorable conditions for transit and transportation", he said. "Studies show that our tariffs are competitive and necessary measures can be taken, if necessary."
"This is a complex issue. It is necessary to take into account both the participating transit companies' costs, alternative routes and etc.", he added. "Of course, price is important, but it is not the main thing, the constancy enabling companies to plan their activities is significant."
