Employee in  Unrecognized  Chechnya  Republic’s Baku Permanent Representative Office Murdered in   Baku

Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr K. Zarbaliyeva / on the night of 19 November, Imran Gaziyev, 49, the former deputy permanent representative of the unrecognized Republic of Chechnya in Baku was killed not far from his house.

Gaziyev was shot not far from his home at 32, Azadliq Ave, Baku, Binagadi District Police said to Trend on 19 November.

It is not yet known whether the homicide was committed by one person or a group.

The gun from which Gaziyev was shot was found near the scene of the crime.

A criminal case was filed in compliance with Article 120.1 (calculated homicide) and 228.1 (illegal purchase, transmission, sale, possession, transportation or bearing of guns). A search is underway to find the culprit.
