Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry announced the international military cooperation activities that will be expanded in order to modernize and improve the combat capability of the Armed Forces, the press service of the ministry reported on March 25.
The main challenge facing the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in the field of international cooperation is the expansion of the military cooperation within international organizations and on bilateral basis in accordance with the strategic interests of the country.
Expanding the number of activities is planned in this regard; including the development of bilateral and multilateral international cooperation in the military sphere, implementation of the obligations and duties arising from programs IPAP (Individual Partnership Action Plans (IPAP)), PARP ( Planning and Review Process ), IPP ( Individual Partnership Plan), the expansion of bilateral cooperation with the Member States and NATO partner countries, expansion of cooperation with CIS countries in the military sphere raising mutual interest , the implementation of problems arising out of contracts, agreements, memoranda and protocols signed by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan with other states and military- political structures and other tasks.
