BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 19. The musical event honoring November 8—Azerbaijan's Victory Day—took center stage at the Vailantin Theatre in the Hague, brought to life by the Azerbaijani-Dutch Odlar Yurdu Society, the Turkish-Azerbaijani Cultural Center operating in the Netherlands, and the Association of Azerbaijani Students and Alumni of Benelux (AZSAB), Trend reports via Azerbaijan's State Committee for Work with Diaspora.
It was observed that the national anthems of Azerbaijan and the Netherlands took center stage right off the bat. A moment of silence was observed to pay tribute to the fallen heroes.
The event participants were apprised of the triumphant victory achieved by the Azerbaijani army under the command of the victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
Moreover, a movie was unveiled to commemorate the centennial of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
In the vibrant tapestry of artistry, melodies woven by the hands of musicians from Azerbaijan, the Netherlands, and Germany danced together in a harmonious celebration.
The show put on by Nematagi Aliyev, a singer hailing from Azerbaijan, along with local talents Firangiz Baghirova, Eljan Rzayev, and Emin Sadigli, not to mention the “Caucasus” dance group from Germany, really hit the nail on the head. The youngest star of the event, Ali Jafarov, also stole the spotlight, leaving the audience buzzing with excitement and applause.
