On 17 March Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev received in his palace a delegation headed by Latvian Minister with special tasks in integration issues, Aynars Latkovskiy.
The head of state voiced his satisfaction with the participation of a large Latvian delegation at the second conference of the world Azerbaijanis. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev noted the expanding bilateral relationships.
He reminded the Latvian Presidents visit to Azerbaijan and organization of a business-forum under the visit. The head of state voiced his confidence in further development of bilateral relationships.
Latkovskiy thanked the head of head for invitation to the second conference of the World Azerbaijanis. He noted that Azerbaijanis residing in Latvia take an active part in the public and economic life of the country. He voiced his confidence in the expansion of the bilateral relationships.
