BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 25. I performed well at the competition, but there is still room for improvement, a member of the Azerbaijani national acrobatic gymnastics team Anahita Bashiri told reporters, Trend reports.

Bashiri made this comment on the program she performed at the 29th Azerbaijan Championship among Age Categories and Baku Championship in Acrobatic Gymnastics.

"Our present competition goals are twofold: to excel in performance while also addressing and correcting any inadequacies in preparation for our participation in the World Championships. Our ultimate goal at the World Championships is to reach the podium. We maintain faith in our talents, building on our recent success in winning medals at the European Championships," she emphasized.

The Heydar Aliyev Sports and Concert Complex in Baku is hosting the 29th Azerbaijan Championship among Age Categories and the Baku Championship in Acrobatic Gymnastics, taking place on April 25–26.

A combined contingent of 71 gymnasts hailing from Baku Gymnastics School, “Ojaq” Sports Club, Neftchi Sports Club, and Specialized Children-Youth Gymnastics School of Olympic Reserves No. 13 are set to participate in the tournament.
