Turkish Delegation Comprised of 100 Persons Arrived in Azerbaijan on Two-Day Visit

The Turkish delegation comprising of 100 persons arrived in Azerbaijan, the Head of the Municipality of Turkish province of Umraniye Hasan Jan told a Press Conference on October 12, Trend reports.

According to him, the delegation includes deputies from power and opposition, entrepreneurs, representatives of non-governmental organizations, as well as art workers and journalists. Within the two-day visit, the head of the delegation, together with TUSIAB, plan to organize the breaking of a fast in Baku and will hold a concert Azerbaijani-Turkish friendship night in the Palace named after Heydar Aliyev.

Jan stressed that earlier the relations between Turkic countries were established on an official level. But today it is unsatisfactory. Therefore, it was decided to organize the Union of Municipalities of the Turkic World. The Union will help develop not only economical, but also cultural relations between the Turkic countries.

Similar events will also be held in other Turkic countries.
