Trend S.Aliyev / The Press-Service of Azerenergy JSC stated referring to the President of JSC, Etibar Pirverdiyev, that the Turkish Company Barmek, which previously managed electricity distribution networks of Baku, Sumgait and north regions of Azerbaijan, worked unsystematically, applied or denied these and other technical conditions without any grounds and ignored investment of the distributing networks.
"Its results may appear in the future," he said. Currently all efforts of the power engineering specialists have been directed towards restoring electricity transmission lines and constructing new ones and replacing the transformers.
According to the First Vice Primer of the Government of Azerbaijan, Yagub Eyyubov, the Turkish Company made many mistakes in managing the networks. Inaccurate spending of huge finances was discovered and therefore, the networks were returned to the Government.
